Dear Members,
The Board are anxious to ensure that the circumstances which led to the Captains Day
reception not being held at the clubhouse, are not repeated.
The members office has the capacity to organise major club events and to undertake the
necessary liaison with the various parties. It is important that they retain this role.
Whilst the Board respects the decision of the Captains, it is important that whenever possible
we use the facilities available at the clubhouse and in doing so support our loyal and valued staff.
In addition, the members office have been asked to ensure that any messages that appear on our website,
or club notice board, are first referred to the Board for approval.
