Knockout Competitions 2022
The knockout competitions were eventually completed with some exciting matches throughout.
Well done to all the competitors but especially congratulations to the finalists and winners….
In the Men’s final Pelle Rutberg held off a comeback in the back nine to beat Olle Johansson and
in the Ladies’ final Jen Bearcroft managed to keep Vero Sauvée at bay to win on the 17th.
After disappointment in the singles, Olle Johansson got his victory in the doubles with Gordon Main when they beat Kevin Davorn and Tomas Bittner.
In the Ladies’ Doubles, Liesbeth Van den Dool and Jackie Rushgrove won a tight game against Cathie Preston and Jean Bleakley on the 19th hole!
